Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Sold Ledger (the "Site") and the spreadsheet products sold through it, operated by CLEADEAL LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, or by purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What this Site provides

The Site offers a digital spreadsheet product — The Sold Ledger, an inventory and profit organization tool for resellers, delivered in Google Sheets and Excel formats — together with free informational guides, including platform fee guides. The content is educational and organizational in nature. Nothing on this Site is professional advice — not tax advice, not accounting advice, not financial advice — and using the Site does not create an accountant-client, advisor-client, or any other professional relationship between you and us.

For advice about your specific situation, consult a qualified licensed professional in your jurisdiction.

2. No guarantees

We work hard to keep our information accurate and current, but selling platforms change their fees, rules, and terms — sometimes without notice. We do not guarantee that any information, fee figure, or calculation on the Site or in the product is complete, current, or correct, or that using it will produce any particular outcome. Fee tables in the product carry a verification date and are editable so you can update them; you are responsible for verifying current platform fees before acting on them. You use the Site and its products at your own risk.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

4. Payments

The Sold Ledger is sold for a one-time payment, shown in U.S. dollars at checkout. Payment is processed securely by the marketplace or payment provider where you check out (for example, Etsy). We never see or store your full payment-card details.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at the email below and we will review it.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, guides, the spreadsheet’s structure, formulas, and design, and branding — is owned by CLEADEAL LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Purchasing the product gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the spreadsheet for your own reselling business, including for as many years as you wish. It does not transfer ownership or give you the right to share, resell, or republish the files themselves.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CLEADEAL LLC and its owners, officers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site or its products — including any decisions you make based on the Site’s content, any fee figures that have changed since verification, or any tax filing you prepare using totals from the product. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CLEADEAL LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site or the product or your violation of these Terms.

8. Third-party links and providers

The Site may link to third-party websites or reference third-party services (such as marketplaces, spreadsheet platforms, and payment processors). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. The selling platforms discussed on this Site — including eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, StockX, and Whatnot — are third parties; The Sold Ledger is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its last-updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
