One file. Every year. Fees verified.
The Sold Ledger is a single inventory & profit ledger for resellers: enter every item once, flip its status to Sold, and watch profit, platform fees, and taxes total themselves — this year, last year, and every year after, in the same file.
$39 one-time. No subscription. No new edition to buy next January. Google Sheets + Excel included.

Why resellers switch
The top-selling reseller spreadsheets on Etsy have thousands of sales — and the same three flaws, printed in their own listings and repeated in their reviews. The Sold Ledger was built to fix exactly those three.
The leading spreadsheet covers one year only — its listing tells you to buy another one next year. Three years in, you have paid $117 and your history is split across three files.
One ledger that never expires. Your 2026 file is your 2029 file: year-over-year profit sits side by side on the dashboard, and tax season never starts with a rollover.
Their instructions literally tell you to copy each row from the inventory tab and paste it into the sales tab when an item sells. Miss a row and your profit is wrong.
Every item lives in one ledger. Change a status dropdown and the sale, the platform fee, and the profit flow to every report automatically. Nothing to move, nothing to lose.
The cheapest evergreen trackers admit in their own fine print that their fee tables ship as approximations. Wrong fees mean wrong profit — on every single sale.
Every platform table in Settings is checked against the platform’s published rates and stamped verified Oct 2026 — including StockX seller levels and Whatnot’s current rates, which no other reseller spreadsheet covers at all.
Inside the file
No scripts, no macros, nothing to install. The whole system runs on protected formulas that work the same in Google Sheets and Excel.
Inventory and sales in one list of up to 2,000 items. A Status field — Listed, Sold, Delisted, Donated — drives every report.
All six platforms’ 2026 fee tables live in one editable Settings tab: eBay by category, StockX by seller level, Whatnot by rate tier.
Revenue, cost of goods, fees, and net profit at a glance — plus aging buckets (Fresh / Aging / Stale / Death Pile) so dead stock can’t hide.
Net profit after fees, side by side per platform, so you can see which marketplace actually pays you — not just which one sells.
Monthly business expenses and a mileage log at the IRS rate from Settings. Shipping, supplies, and sourcing trips all in one place.
Your year totals itself into Schedule C shape — income, cost of goods, expenses, mileage — filtered by any year in the file.
Type a buy price, pick the platform, get a BUY / RISKY / SKIP verdict using that platform’s real fees — before you spend the money.
Every formula cell is locked; only the entry cells are open. The #1 support problem with other spreadsheets — a buyer breaking a formula — can’t happen.
No item caps per year, no reset, no new file. Cross-year comparison is built into the dashboard from day one.
Delivered as an instant download: the Google Sheets master and the Excel version of the same file, with every tab below.
$39 one-time. Theirs: $39 every January. Ours: $39 once.
How it works
Buy once on Etsy and download instantly. You get the Google Sheets file and the Excel file — use whichever you already live in.
Open the file and save your own copy. Check the Settings tab: your platforms, your store names, your fee tables — already filled in and dated.
Add each item as you list it. When it sells, flip Status to Sold. Profit, fees, platform stats, and tax totals update themselves.
The honest comparison
| The Sold Ledger | Year-locked spreadsheets | Cheap trackers | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost over 3 years | $39, once | $39 every year — $117+ and counting | $2–$25, but capped and thin |
| Years of history | Every year, one file, side by side | One year per file — buy again to continue | Often one year, or a manual reset |
| Logging a sale | Flip Status to Sold | Copy-paste the row to a sales tab | Re-type or move rows by hand |
| Fee tables | Verified Oct 2026, dated, editable | Hardcoded, silently out of date | “Approximations,” by their own fine print |
| Platforms | 6 — incl. StockX + Whatnot | Typically 3–4 | Typically 1–3 |
| Item capacity | 2,000 items | Caps on stores/categories; varies | As low as 60–500 items |
| Formulas | Protected — can’t be broken | Unprotected; sellers sell hand-holding instead | Unprotected |

Questions
eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, StockX, and Whatnot — each with its own fee table in Settings, including eBay’s per-category rates and StockX’s seller levels. Selling somewhere else too? Add a row to the fee table and the ledger handles it the same way.
Both. The download includes the Google Sheets master and the Excel version of the same file — all ten tabs, same formulas. Pick the one you already use; there’s a short note in the file about the couple of display differences between the two.
Two things. First, the fee tables are editable: change one row in Settings and every future calculation uses the new rate — no new file, no re-buy. Second, we publish verified fee-table updates for this version of the spreadsheet, and the free fee guides on this site always show the rates we last verified, with the date.
No. The Tax Center is an organization tool: it totals the numbers you entered into the shape of a Schedule C so tax time is an export, not an excavation. It doesn’t file anything, and it doesn’t replace a tax professional for your situation.
2,000 item rows, pre-built with formulas — and unlimited years. The year comes from each item’s dates, so 2026, 2027, and 2030 live in the same ledger with cross-year totals on the dashboard.
Yes — paste your existing items into the ledger columns once, set their Status, and you’re in the new system. From then on there’s nothing to copy: selling is a status flip, not a row move.
